About India Curry House Restaurant and East Indian Cuisine

East Indian Cuisine

The Subcontinent of India is a varied and intricate part of the world, whose people speak 18 languages in many dialects, with four major religions.

The East Indian Cuisine which we offer here for your dining pleasure is Northern India. It is the food of the Moghuls. You may find a difference in flavour from curries that are commonly accepted in this country but which are not truly authentic. Curry itself is a mixture of many natural spices and the proportion of each determines flavour. We have seasoned these dishes lightly so as to please the North American palate, but if you wish to sample very hot food, please ask your hostess. We hope you will enjoy tasting the different items on our menu and will give us the benefit of your comments.

Traditionally, East Indian food is eaten with fingers (natural knife and fork) but we provide cutlery for those who do not wish to carry authenticity to the extreme.
